Title: Becoming Jane
I adore her works a lot, however, 18 century English is probably too difficult for me as a non-native reader. Thus, I read her works through rewritten one known as graded novels. Also, I am a biiiiiiiig fan of BBC’s TV drama, ” Pride and Prejudice.”
It was 2005 that I first watched that drama. My friend from England said to me, “ This is the must to see. I’m sure you’ll love it.” Then she lent all of DVD for me. Once I started to watch, I couldn’t stop watching all night. (Around 6hours)
This is why I love watch this kind of film without any criticism. I love watching the hilly English sight through the film. I love listening their way of speaking. If you like old style English atmosphere, you will like this film.
Some says that this is too much aware of “Pride and Prejudice”. I also noticed they hinted and implied in various ways. However, I really enjoyed those implications. That is why I enjoyed this film, I can say.
Especially, My favorite actor, James MacAvoy, was good. He was paid attention as Mr. Tumnus in “ The lion and the Witch and the Wardrobe.” I become to like him when I watched my favorite film,” The Agony”, which was really good.
Ann Hathaway’s Jane was also nice, seemed intelligent, and cute. I am a non-native speaker, so I have no right to say about accent, but I enjoyed the way she tried to speak British accent.
